About Bilkent Center
Bilkent Center is a large, award-winning shopping mall in Ankara that is home to many stores and restaurants for a complete shopping and dining experience.
Its unique colorful, metallic facade provides a grand entrance, after which the center is easily navigable thanks to its simple layout and helpful landscaping. The restaurants and cafes line the outside of the center, separated from the parking lot by green partitions and large plant pots filled with shrubs and flowers.
The stand out feature of Bilkent Center after the impressive entrance, is the living green wall that comprises a variety of plants in impressive geometric shapes to provide an ever-changing indoor landscape full of different shades of green. This is lit by wonderfully creative lamp posts around the center which gives the feeling of being outside.
There is further greenery around the center, with shrubs and trees providing excellent backdrops as well as much needed shade to bench seating for tired shoppers to take a break.
