About Teos Marina
Teos Marina is an historically important port located just 40km from Izmir city center, near Teos ancient city and is home to a massive 480 boats at any one time. It’s an award winning marina and has been fortunate to be refurbished according to modern needs.
The Marina has a wonderful natural aesthetic due to the stone and plant life chosen for the project. The pale stone paving slabs fit perfectly with the tone of the natural stone surrounding the marina and those that make up the ancient castle, while the pale wood chosen for the benches completes the natural, simple look.
The native plants selected were palm trees and lavender, among others, and perfectly fit the backdrop of the Sığacık castle and represent the local natural environment. The bottle brush also adds splashes of bright red to the area while maintaining the sustainable landscape and rural, local aesthetic of the location.
