The House Residence is a luxury apartment block in the heart of Istanbul’s opulent Bomonti-Sisli district. The orange of the brickwork is complemented by the white stone entrance way and blends neatly with the copper plant pots and light oak wooden benches.
While the outside space may not be vast, the landscaping performed has optimized the space immensely, by adding greenery as much as possible. The large plant pots of neatly pruned hedges decorate the doorways while also highlighting them for residents, and the walls are covered by trellises which have been interwoven with vines to create low maintenance living green walls.
The uniformity of the outside space creates a sense of formality and luxury at the same time as providing privacy for those who wish to sit outside surrounded by a more natural environment within a huge urban dwelling.
